Bang Bang Salmon: Crispy, Creamy, and Bursting with Bold Flavor

Ingredients

  • 4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ¼ tsp sea salt

Bang Bang Sauce:

  • ½ cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 2 tbsp light mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tbsp sriracha (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tbsp fresh lime juice
  • 1 tsp honey or maple syrup
  • 1 clove garlic, minced

Garnish:

  • 2 tbsp chopped green onions
  • 1 tsp sesame seeds
  • Lime wedges, for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Pat the salmon fillets dry and brush with olive oil.
  3. Season both sides with garlic powder, paprika, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Arrange the salmon on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Bake for 12–15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Meanwhile, whisk together the Greek yogurt, mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, lime juice, honey, and garlic until smooth.
  7. Spoon or brush the Bang Bang sauce over the cooked salmon.
  8. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds.
  9. Serve immediately with steamed vegetables, brown rice, or a fresh salad.
