- 1 prepared 9-inch pie crust
- 1/2 lb lean ground beef
- 4 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 1/2 cup onion, diced
- 1/2 cup bell pepper, diced
- 6 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 2 tbsp green onions, sliced
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Cook the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until browned. Drain excess grease.
- Add onion and bell pepper and cook for 3–4 minutes until softened.
- Spread the beef mixture evenly into the pie crust.
- Sprinkle crumbled bacon and shredded cheddar cheese over the top.
- In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the egg mixture into the pie crust.
- Bake for 35–40 minutes, or until the center is set and lightly golden.
- Let cool for 10 minutes before slicing.
- Garnish with green onions and serve warm.
