  • 8 oz whole wheat penne pasta
  • 2 cups cooked chicken breast, shredded
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • ½ cup plain Greek yogurt
  • ½ cup light cream cheese
  • ¾ cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp Italian seasoning
  • 2 tbsp chopped green onions
  • 2 tbsp turkey bacon bits (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook penne pasta according to package directions; drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  3. Sauté garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  4. Add chicken broth, cream cheese, and Greek yogurt; stir until smooth.
  5. Mix in cheddar cheese, paprika, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  6. Add shredded chicken and stir until coated in sauce.
  7. Fold in cooked penne and mix well.
  8. Simmer for 2–3 minutes until creamy and heated through.
  9. Top with green onions and turkey bacon bits if using.
  10. Serve warm.
