- 12 oz fettuccine or pasta of choice
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1 1/2 cups freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 tsp salt (or to taste)
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp nutmeg (optional)

- 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley, for garnish
Instructions
- Cook pasta according to package directions until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water, then drain.
- In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
- Add garlic and sautΓ© for 30β60 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in the heavy cream and milk. Bring to a gentle simmer.
- Reduce heat to low and gradually whisk in the Parmesan cheese until smooth.
- Season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg if using.
- Add the cooked pasta and toss until fully coated in the sauce.
- Stir in a little reserved pasta water if needed to reach your desired consistency.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and additional Parmesan cheese.
- Serve immediately while hot and creamy.
