Description

These mini pizzas are a delightful blend of savory cheese and toppings!


Ingredients

🧀 12+ tbsp grated parmesan cheese, 1/4 cup pizza sauce (low sodium), 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese, mini pepperonis, Italian seasoning


Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper. Make piles of grated parmesan about 1 inch apart directly onto the parchment paper, and then use the back of a spoon to flatten them out into discs. I made mine with 1 heaping tablespoon each, and I could have fit about 12 on the pan. Bake for 5-8 minutes, or until the cheese becomes crispy and golden brown. Remove from the oven and allow the parmesan crusts to cool for a few minutes. Top each one with a small amount of pizza sauce, shredded cheese, pepperoni and Italian seasoning. Place them back in the oven for 3-5 minutes or until the mozzarella cheese is melted. Remove from the oven and immediately place them on a few paper towels to soak up the grease for a few minutes before eating.
