Ingredients

  • 1 (20 oz) package cheese ravioli (fresh or frozen)
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 tsp salt (to taste)
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley

  • 1/2 cup reserved pasta water

Instructions

  1. Cook ravioli according to package instructions. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water, then drain.
  2. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
  3. Add garlic and cook for 1–2 minutes until fragrant (do not brown).
  4. Stir in red pepper flakes if using.
  5. Add cooked ravioli to the skillet and toss gently.
  6. Pour in a splash of reserved pasta water to create a light sauce.
  7. Add Parmesan, salt, and black pepper; toss until coated and creamy.
  8. Remove from heat and garnish with fresh parsley.
  9. Serve immediately.
