Homemade Big Mac: A Better-Than-Takeout Burger Experience

Ingredients

  • 🥩 1 lb ground beef (80/20 recommended)
  • 🍔 8 small burger buns or sesame seed buns
  • 🧀 8 slices American cheese
  • 🥬 2 cups shredded lettuce
  • 🧅 ½ cup finely diced onion
  • 🥒 ½ cup sliced pickles
  • 🌶️ Salt & black pepper, to taste

🍔 Special Sauce:

 

  • 🥄 ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 🍯 2 tbsp sweet pickle relish
  • 🌼 1 tbsp yellow mustard
  • 🧄 ½ tsp garlic powder
  • 🧅 ½ tsp onion powder
  • 🌶️ ½ tsp paprika

Instructions

  1. 🥣 Mix all sauce ingredients together and refrigerate until ready to use.
  2. 🥩 Divide ground beef into thin patties, season with salt and pepper.
  3. 🔥 Cook patties on a hot skillet for 2–3 minutes per side until browned.
  4. 🧀 Add cheese slices and let them melt.
  5. 🍔 Toast the buns lightly and spread special sauce on each layer.
  6. 🥬 Add lettuce, onion, pickles, beef patties, and stack the burgers.
  7. 🍟 Serve warm with your favorite fries or side dish.
