Homemade Egg Noodles 🍜πŸ₯šβœ¨ | Soft, Tender & From-Scratch Comfort Pasta

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup water (add gradually as needed)

  • 1 tbsp olive oil (optional, for softer dough)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix flour and salt.
  2. Make a well in the center and add eggs and olive oil.
  3. Gradually mix flour into the eggs, adding water a little at a time until a soft dough forms.
  4. Knead dough on a floured surface for 8–10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  5. Cover and let rest for 20–30 minutes.
  6. Roll dough out thinly on a floured surface.
  7. Cut into strips for noodles.
  8. Let noodles dry for 15–30 minutes before cooking.
  9. Boil in salted water for 2–4 minutes until tender.
  10. Drain and serve with butter, in soups, or your favorite sauce.
