- 1 lb pizza dough
- 1 1/2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 24 slices pepperoni
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1 large egg, beaten
- 1 tbsp melted butter
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
For Serving:
- 1/2 cup pizza sauce or marinara sauce
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Roll pizza dough into a large rectangle on a lightly floured surface.
- Sprinkle mozzarella cheese evenly over the dough, leaving a 1-inch border.
- Arrange pepperoni slices over the cheese.
- Sprinkle Parmesan cheese, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder on top.
- Roll the dough tightly into a log, sealing the edges and ends.
- Place seam-side down on the prepared baking sheet.
- Brush with beaten egg and cut a few small slits on top.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with parsley.
- Let cool for 5 minutes before slicing and serving with marinara sauce.
