Oven Baked Tacos 🌮🔥 | Crispy, Cheesy & Easy Sheet Pan Taco Recipe

For the Beef Filling:

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 packet taco seasoning (or 2 tbsp homemade)
  • 1/4 cup water

For the Tacos:

 

  • 1012 small corn or flour tortillas
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar or Mexican blend cheese
  • 1 cup salsa
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1 tomato, diced
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup sliced jalapeños (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a skillet, cook ground beef and onion until browned.
  3. Add garlic, taco seasoning, and water. Simmer for 2–3 minutes.
  4. Warm tortillas slightly so they are pliable.
  5. Spoon beef mixture into each tortilla and place upright in a baking dish.
  6. Top each taco generously with shredded cheese.
  7. Bake for 10–12 minutes until cheese is melted and tortillas are slightly crisp.
  8. Remove from oven and add lettuce, tomato, salsa, sour cream, and jalapeños.
  9. Serve immediately while warm and crispy.
