  • 8 oz whole wheat egg noodles
  • 1 lb lean ground beef or turkey
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 cups low-sodium marinara sauce
  • 8 oz light cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • ½ tsp paprika
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • Salt, to taste
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Cook the noodles according to package directions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  3. Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the ground beef with onion until browned.
  4. Add garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Stir in marinara sauce, Italian seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper. Simmer for 5 minutes.
  6. In a bowl, mix cream cheese and Greek yogurt until smooth.
  7. Combine the cooked noodles with the creamy cheese mixture.
  8. Spread the noodle mixture into the baking dish.
  9. Top with the meat sauce, mozzarella, and Parmesan cheese.
  10. Bake for 25–30 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  11. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
