  • 2–3 large sweet potatoes, sliced into 1/4-inch rounds
  • 2 tbsp olive oil or coconut oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon (optional, for sweet version)
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tbsp maple syrup (optional, for caramelized finish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 425Β°F (220Β°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Slice sweet potatoes into even rounds for consistent cooking.
  3. In a large bowl, toss slices with oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Add cinnamon if using.
  4. Arrange in a single layer on the baking sheet.
  5. Roast for 25–30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until edges are golden and crisp.
  6. Drizzle lightly with maple syrup during the last 5 minutes if desired.
  7. Garnish with parsley and serve warm.
