Smoked Taco Dip: A Bold, Cheesy Party Favorite

Ingredients

  • 🥩 1 lb ground beef
  • 🌮 1 packet taco seasoning
  • 🧀 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 🥛 ½ cup sour cream
  • 🧀 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 🧀 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 🥫 1 cup salsa
  • 🌶️ 1 can diced green chilies
  • 🌿 2 green onions, sliced
  • 🫒 Sliced black olives (optional)

 

  • 🌽 Tortilla chips, for serving

Instructions

  1. 🔥 Brown the ground beef, drain the fat, and stir in the taco seasoning.
  2. 🥣 Mix the cream cheese, sour cream, salsa, and green chilies until smooth.
  3. 🧀 Fold in the cooked beef and half of the shredded cheeses.
  4. 🥘 Transfer to a smoker-safe dish and top with the remaining cheese.
  5. 🌬️ Smoke at 225°F (107°C) for 45–60 minutes, until hot and bubbly.
  6. 🌿 Garnish with green onions and black olives. Serve warm with tortilla chips.
