- 1 sheet whole wheat puff pastry (thawed)
- 2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ cup light cream cheese
- ¼ cup feta cheese, crumbled
- ¼ tsp black pepper
- ¼ tsp salt
- 1 egg (for egg wash)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Heat olive oil in a pan and sauté garlic for 30 seconds.
- Add spinach and cook until wilted, then remove excess moisture.
- Mix spinach with cream cheese, feta, salt, and pepper.
- Cut puff pastry into squares or rectangles.
- Add filling to each piece and fold, sealing edges with a fork.
- Brush tops with beaten egg.
- Bake for 18–22 minutes until golden and puffed.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
