  • 1 sheet whole wheat puff pastry (thawed)
  • 2 cups fresh spinach, chopped
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ cup light cream cheese
  • ¼ cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a pan and sauté garlic for 30 seconds.
  3. Add spinach and cook until wilted, then remove excess moisture.
  4. Mix spinach with cream cheese, feta, salt, and pepper.
  5. Cut puff pastry into squares or rectangles.
  6. Add filling to each piece and fold, sealing edges with a fork.
  7. Brush tops with beaten egg.
  8. Bake for 18–22 minutes until golden and puffed.
  9. Let cool slightly before serving.
