Ingredients

  • 1 whole wheat baguette or loaf, sliced
  • 1/4 cup olive oil or melted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

 

  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a small bowl, mix olive oil, garlic, parsley, oregano, salt, and pepper.
  3. Brush mixture generously over each slice of bread.
  4. Place slices on a baking sheet in a single layer.
  5. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese if using.
  6. Bake for 8–10 minutes until edges are golden.
  7. For extra crispiness, broil for 1–2 minutes (watch closely).
  8. Serve warm.
