- 1 whole wheat baguette or loaf, sliced
- 1/4 cup olive oil or melted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a small bowl, mix olive oil, garlic, parsley, oregano, salt, and pepper.
- Brush mixture generously over each slice of bread.
- Place slices on a baking sheet in a single layer.
- Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese if using.
- Bake for 8–10 minutes until edges are golden.
- For extra crispiness, broil for 1–2 minutes (watch closely).
- Serve warm.
