- 1½ cups frozen pineapple chunks
- 2 oz (¼ cup) silver tequila (100% agave)
- 1 oz (2 tbsp) triple sec or Cointreau
- 1½ oz (3 tbsp) fresh lime juice (about 2 limes—you love lime!)
- 1–2 tbsp agave syrup or simple syrup (to taste)
- ½ cup ice cubes
Blood sugar friendly / keto version:
- 1½ cups frozen pineapple (or sub 1 cup pineapple + ½ cup frozen cauliflower for lower sugar)
- 2 oz tequila
- 1 oz triple sec (or ½ oz for less sugar)
- 1½ oz fresh lime juice
- 1–2 tbsp sugar-free simple syrup (see tip below)
- ½ cup ice
For serving:
- Lime wedges
- Tajín or coarse salt for rimming (optional—you love sweet-salty!)
Instructions
Rub lime wedge around rims; dip in Tajín or salt. Fill with ice; set aside.
In a blender, combine frozen pineapple, tequila, triple sec, lime juice, sweetener, and ice. Blend until smooth and slushy (30–45 seconds).
Pour into prepared glasses. Garnish with lime wedge.
